Relationship Challenges

Creating and maintaining healthy relationships involves ongoing flexibility and adaptability, and often requires you to look at your patterns of relating to others through a different lens.  Experiences from your own childhood may serve as obstacles to becoming the partner or parent you wish to be.

Parenting effectively isn’t something we naturally know how to do.  It is a skill we build with awareness and practice over time.  It can be difficult to find the time and energy to focus on your relationships and yourself.  Many people feel they struggle to find a healthy balance while staying connected over time.

I am committed to helping you engage new ways of being, become a more present and attuned person in relationships, and relate to others in ways that align with your values and beliefs.  Some common struggles that I may help you with include:

  • Communication challenges

  • Codependency issues

  • Setting healthy boundaries

  • Feeling stuck in the same patterns of relating that don't serve you

  • Fear of connecting deeply with others

  • Issues from your childhood

  • Nurturing yourself and your relationship

  • Balancing work and parenting

  • Navigating unhealthy family relationships
