How do I know if you are the right person for me to see?
The first step is a free 15-minute phone consultation (541) 581-0085 where we can speak. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, scheduling, insurance/fees, and any questions you may have about my experience and practice. If you feel I can be helpful to you, we will schedule an initial session.
The initial session is an opportunity for you to meet me and share more about yourself. This also gives you a sense of how I work and how you will feel talking with me.
People who tend to have the best results working with me are those who are ready for change. If, for whatever reason, it doesn't feel like the right fit for you, I will provide you with a referral so you can find the right therapist for you and your needs.
What is your fee?
Please contact me to discuss my rate for payment by check, cash or Venmo.
Do you accept insurance?
I am an in-network provider with Pacific Source Commercial, PacificSource Community Solutions (Oregon Health Plan), Aetna, First Choice Health and Moda Health.
If you have a different health plan, I can provide you documentation of our work for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
Please call your insurance company prior to the first session to discuss mental health treatment coverage. Your insurance company will be able to answer your questions including: using an out-of-network provider towards your deductible, your co-pay (if/when in-network), and how many sessions will be covered, etc.
What is your cancellation policy?
Clients may cancel 24 hours in advance without penalty.
How often will I need to meet with you?
In order for therapy to be effective I believe consistency is important. Having a set day and time to come in once a week is highly recommended.
How many sessions will I need?
Every individual has different needs, so it is difficult to say. Generally, it takes several sessions for clients to meet their goals.
What kind of clients do you see?
I work primarily with individual adults.
